Day One: Arrive Auckland
Take some time to explore this city, the biggest in New Zealand. Highlights include; SkyCity, Kelly Tarltons Antarctic Experience and Underwater World, Viaduct Harbour and a trip to Waiheke Island if time permits.


Day Two: Auckland to Rotorua
Travel to Rotorua, approximately 3.5 hours drive from Auckland. Rotorua is a true natural wonder. Here you can experience some of earths natural forces at work, visiting the natural thermal areas. Watch the geyers and feel the heat radiating from the mud pools. Highlights include; Agrodome, Whakarewarewa Thermal Area, Rainbow Springs, Skyline Skyrides Gonodola and Luge and Polynesian Spa Pools in Rotorua.


Day Three: Rotorua
Take in anything you may of missed yesterday.


Day Four: Rotorua to Taupo
From Rotorua take the 1-hour journey down to Taupo. On your way to Taupo from Rotorua experience Huka Falls. Other highlights include a wide variety of water activities on the Lake or simply relaxing.


Day Five: Taupo to Wellington
From Taupo take the journey through to Wellington where you can explore the country's capital city. (Approximately 5 hours) Highlights include: Te Papa the museum on NZ, the Botanical Gardens and a tour of parliament.


Day Six:
Wellington to Picton to Kaikoura
Travel on the Interisland ferry from Wellington to Picton (approximately 3 ½ hours)
From Picton travel south to Kaikoura. This seaside town is a sleepy farming centre built up by its outstanding year around whale watching opportunities. As well as whales you can also experience swimming with dolphins, swimming with seals and diving with sharks. Another asset in the area are the outstanding seafood restaurants. The area is famous for its crayfish and they are well worth sampling.


Day Seven: Kaikoura
Take in any attractions in Kaikoura you may of missed yesterday.


Day Eight: Kaikoura to Christchurch
From Kaikoura make your way, at your leisure back to Christchurch city, approximately 2.5 hours drive. Take the remainder of the day to explore the city of Christchurch.


Day Nine: Christchurch to Queenstown
Take the scenic trip south from Christchurch to Lake Tekapo then on to Queenstown; this is approximately 6 hours drive.


Day Ten: Queenstown - Milford Sound - Queenstown
From Queenstown board a guided tour to take you into Milford Sound and cruise the length of this majestic fiord. The tour is a full day in duration and takes in some of New Zealand's most outstanding scenery. If preferred you can visit the fiord via plane.


Day Eleven: Queenstown
Included in your activities for today is a cruise on the TSS Earnslaw over to the Walter Peak farm, the tour included a scenic cruise, morning or afternoon tea, a farm tour and a cruise back across the lake. The rest of the day is at your leisure, the activity options are endless: rafting, jet boating, horse riding, Lord of the Rings tours, gondola rides, the list goes on.


Day Twelve:
Queenstown to Dunedin
From Queenstown make your way over to Dunedin, this drive is approximately 3.5 hours. On arrival in Dunedin take some time to explore this historic city. This afternoon take a visit to Larnach Castle.


Day Thirteen: Dunedin to Christchurch
From Dunedin take the drive north back to Christchurch, this drive is approximately 5 hours.


Day Fourteen:
Christchurch
Return your rental vehicle and meet your flight for your return home.
